Visit to the Bri Bri Shaman

A 40-minute drive will take you to the heart of the Bribri Indigenous Reserve in Suretka. After crossing the Sixaola river on a small boat, a 30 minutes ride will bring you to the area where two shamans of the Bribri’s tribe live and practice their traditional medicine. You will be able to ask questions and visit the “healing house”, a sacred space where rituals and healing sessions take place.
