We are inviting you and your partner, gal pals or come as a single to our Eco Jungle Adventure. This is a women’s only trip designed with adventure, wellness and fun. Come explore the jungle, get in touch with nature and feel the spiritual magic of Samasati. Journey through the 250 acres of primary tropical rainforest and stand next to trees that have existed for many centuries. Feel the cleansing air and join the circadian rhythm of the jungle. You will learn to fully appreciate the diversity and treasures our precious earth holds. After being exposed to the riches of the rainforest, you will be forever changed.

The trip is designed for not only adventure, but wellness. It is also has been created so you are taken care of from the moment you land in San Jose until we return you to the airport on Saturday. Our travel agent will coordinate you air travel so that everyone arrives by noon on March 1st. We will have an air-conditioned bus ready to export you to the jungle.
Once you arrive at Samasati, you will be able to personally experience the brilliance of being in the jungle, in the mountains, overlooking the Caribbean. You will be escorted to either your bungalow or to the guest house, where your luggage will be waiting for you.

Each day begins with Yoga at 7 am. This is geared for everyone, so no worries if you have never done yoga before, this is your opportunity to step outside your box! During the week you will have Yoga twice a day, unless activities do not permit. To continue your wellness tour, you will also receive two chiropractic wellness treatments and two medical massages. Both will be a treat to your body after the adventures of the day.

Three adventures are included in this package:

WHITE WATER RAFTING
The Pacuare River is world famous for its sheer beauty. A true river gorge, it is flanked by steep, green walls. You will see waterfalls cascade into the river from both sides. Wildlife is abundant, with sloth, toucans, parrots, coatis, morpho butterflies and colorful frogs being common sights. Other inhabitants of this jungle include monkeys, jaguars, peccaries and tapirs, but these animals generally stay more hidden. It is not an overly challenging river, but it has many rapids that will make your adventure very interesting and fun. The 18-mile-one-day-run includes a total of 38 rapids. Few rivers in the world can offer you so many rapids in such a short stretch of water.
Upon arrival to the river you will get geared you up with a life jacket, helmet and paddle and then briefed with a full safety orientation talk by our expert guides. The first 4 miles consist of class II-III rapids, a great time to test your new river skills, gain confidence in your team, and have fun. Here you will find very beautiful pockets of secondary forest. After about 40 minutes we will enter the Pacuare River Gorge, which is 5 miles of some of the best white water Costa Rica has to offer. After the gorge the river opens up to another 5 mile stretch called "Valle del Pacuare." The river here changes and becomes wide open, giving you the opportunity to rest a bit and watch the varied wildlife. The final 3 miles are filled with class III rapids which carry you all the way to the end.

RAIN FOREST CANOPY ADVENTURE
Ten minutes away from Samasati, eighteen aerial platforms and 1200 meters of cable are nestled deep into the jungle. After a short walk ...the adventure starts. Our professional guide will take you from one platform to the other explaining facts about the vegetation, the animals, and how the local indigenous use some of the herbs you will see. An incredible opportunity to "dive" into the jungle and enjoy it from up above.

WATERFALL TREKKING
Guided trekking to a majestic waterfall. Forty minutes to an hour walk in the jungle, in the river, up and down big rocks. Healing and powerful, the waterfall is like a jungle's baptism. Jumping under the strong jets will massage and renew anyone! And we will have a special treat upon your return.

Your package includes your lodging and food. Each day you will enjoy three gourmet vegetarian meals that will continue to support your quest for wellness. And the days that no activities are scheduled, take the complimentary shuttle to Puerto Viejo, where you can choose to explore the town or the beaches. Or enjoy the Jacuzzi that overlooks the Caribbean. Additional adventures are available, but not included. Our adventure fills quickly and is designed for a small group of adventurous women with a maximum of 20 participants. We have many participants that travel as singles, so if you don’t mind sharing a room, there is no additional cost. Add $300 if you would like to have a single room.

Package 1: Bungalow with private bath: Double occupancy/per person- $1950 USD or $1775 USD if paid in full by February 1, 2008.

Package 2: Guest House with shared bath: Double occupancy/per person- $1675 USD or $ 1507.75 USD if paid in full by February 1, 2008.
