    Mindful Living Wellness Travel Retreat

With Dr. Suzanne Nixon and Tim Hutchinson

    April 15 - 23, 2016

    Mindfulness, Meditation, Yoga and Adventure

Most of us get caught up in the busyness of our day to day life. Rarely do we take a moment to pause, catch our breath and re-center. Over time we feel stressed, out of sorts and lose connection with our authentic self. Where do we go to reconnect, rediscover what matters and find our true self again?

Join us for this wellness journey where you will immerse yourself in a healthy, inspiring, relaxing, adventurous and fun program. Our intention is to help you let go of stress and experience ways to reconnect you back to center. Mindful, wellness living is a way to help you do just that. Begin your day with guided meditation and yoga, adventure into the rainforest for walks and hikes with your leaders, participate in innovative teachings on optimizing health in mind, body, spirit, enjoy three meals of fresh, natural Costa Rican food, relax on the beach, get a massage and engage in refreshing, meaningful discussions with like-minded people that help you deepen in your awareness of self.

    About Costa Rica

Costa Rica is known as the Switzerland of Central America. This mountainous country is approximately the size of West Virginia and rises from sea level to a height of 12,500 feet on Chirripo Mountain. This combined with almost 800 miles of coastline between the Pacific and Caribbean coasts has created a biological paradise of flora and Fauna. More than 25% of Costa Rica’s land mass is dedicated to national parks, reserves and wildlife refuges.

With its close proximity to the equator the annual change between sunrise and sunset varies little throughout the year. Sunrise is between 5:15 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sundown is around 6 p.m. Once you are here for a while rising with the sun and being ready to settle down around 9 p.m. becomes natural and very pleasant.

Having abolished their National Army in 1949 and diverting those resources to education and infrastructural improvements, Ticos, as the citizens are called, pride themselves on living in a “Land of Peace”.
