3 vegetarian (vegan meals if requested) per day. The food is organically grown on the land and with some of the finest chefs, their food is exquisitely yummy!! And RAVING reviews!! If you’re not vegetarian you will want to be after this!! They also offer fish dishes.
2 Yoga Classes daily (Indoor Yoga studio and outdoor yoga space) Classes lead by Joelle McDonald of Inner Peace Yoga.
Daily meditations. Sitting and jungle walking.
Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean and the jungle
2 outdoor group excursions (and an extra day to do another one should you please. This would be extra cost). The ones we will be taking as a group are; The Canopy Tour and The Cahuita National Park. To find out what other tours are available just ask and I can send you a list.
At the retreat there are many trails into the jungle for hiking.
There will be plenty of time to rest on the beach, tour the town, have a massage and have some of your own “free time”, should you wish.
We have not included flights in this as some of you may wish to redeem points, travel on after the retreat elsewhere etc.
Flight costs are anywhere from $700.00-$1000.00 CND return. There are direct flights available or you can break it up. We will fly into San Jose Costa Rica. From San Jose to the resort we will need to book a vehicle/van/bus to take us from the airport/Hotel to Samasati. Please note that the cost will be around $40-50 person USD (One way) and depends on how many people we have.
Also, note that if your flight enters San Jose after 1:30pm you will need to stay overnight in San Jose Costa Rica and take the vehicle the next morning to Samasati. The reason for this is they do not travel on the roads at nights as it’s too dark and there are lots of animals. Ideally arriving in San Jose on the 15th and preparing to commute with the group the morning of the 16th to start our yoga retreat adventures. Checking out of Samasati on the 22nd.
The lady that I have been working with at Samasati has given me the name of a hotel they like to book with. Its close to airport and will include our shuttle to and from the hotel to the airport as well as a breakfast in the morning. The cost per person per night will depend on shared or non-shared accommodation but to expect to pay around $60.00-$150 USD a person/ night plus taxes. There will be a slightly cheaper price if paying with cash. If you share with others the price will be cheaper. Talk to me and we can discuss options.
Please visit the website for more information on Samasati and to view photos of the retreat. www.samasati.com
Visit trip advisory for some of the most outstanding reviews ever! This place is a gem in the jungle. I have held a Yoga Retreat here in the past and it was incredible! An adventure and trip of a lifetime!!
Please note that there is a limit of 20 spots available….to reserve your spot we will require a 20% deposit of $370.00 to be paid within the next 5 days! This is necessary in order to reserve the rooms at the resort! Then 40% deposit due $740.00 by Jan 1st, 2019 and the remaining balance of $740 by Feb 1, 2019.

Well, it all started when I developed a very strong case of Meniere’s disease ( an inner ear disease that is much like vertigo but worse). After months and months of seeing the specialist and trying some of the exercises that he provided me to try to get my balance back I was finding nothing was helping…. I was off caffeine, salt and trying every exercise provided by him and…
