The Path to Bliss

With American Yoga Author Carrie Schneider

March 16 - 23, 2024

Join this eclectic group of yogis for a deep dive into how and why we practice. Enjoy twice daily asana (your speed), extraordinary cuisine (three meals per day), beach/jungle stillness and adventure (two excursions), Caribbean camaraderie and contemplation, Farewell Fiesta, and just plain hanging … like and with the Samasati sloths! All levels welcome.

Yoga is so more than a physical practice. What better way to experience its eight-limbed path than with eight days at exquisite Samasati Yoga and Wellness Retreat, on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast—where March means perfection!

Carrie’s instruction, like her book American Yoga, taps our vantage as 21st century yogins: fed by the myriad of traditions but not limited by any one. Her classes are seriously fun orchestrations of the salutations and held alignments that show us what we are. Together let’s hone your potential at the level appropriate for you now.

Daily AM/PM practices will leave plenty of time for pool and spa, R&R, quiet contemplation, great company, and beach and eco-adventures. Don’t miss this idyllic exploration—and celebration—of life and yoga.

Per-person rates from $1,999 to $3,999 for basic to deluxe shared/private accommodations (https://carrieyoga.com/samasati-lodging) include:
